Isolde – Rosehip Ember Knitted Jacket
- 10/06/2023
Design Overview:
This jacket blends traditional stitch work with contemporary structure, creating a refined balance of craftsmanship and texture. The design features a complex cable-and-lace stitch pattern, where strong vertical cables form sculptural lines, softened by delicate lace eyelets that bring lightness and movement. The interplay of dense cables and openwork creates a richly textured, almost diamond-like surface.
Inspiration:
Inspired by winter rosehip buds and the precision of Japanese knitting patterns, this design reflects quiet strength, restraint, and considered elegance.
Shape and Structure:
The jacket is knee length, offering an elongated and elegant silhouette. Long sleeves are finished with extended cable cuffs that echo the main body pattern and add definition at the wrists.
